Child molest sought by police

A child molester released on bail awaiting his sentencing after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a 12 year old girl, has now went missing.

George Quevedo Quintana, 37, of Anaheim faces up to 10 years in prison after pleaded guilty to molesting the victim, who was on a team with the West Grove Girls Softball League in Garden Grove. The softball coach molested the girl during a day trip last September.

It seems that after Quintana plead guilty in April, Orange County Superior Court Roger Robbins delayed sentencing until mid May despite protests from prosecutors who feared he would run or commit suicide. While out on bail, Quintana broke the terms of his bail by contacting his victim, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. However, police have been unable to locate him.
