The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil,
but because of those who look on and do nothing.

I hate politics...

Okay, I actually love em. I mean, where else can you find such an entertaining amount of people, who are hired by normal folks to lie, thieve and waste time? It's completely amazing- and almost as interesting as the crime section of the news- you never know who's going to be the next one busted soliciting sex from someone they shouldn't, or convicted for some crime while they cry to the voters that they are 'sorry'.

But, I have to admit- I have no interest in the recent hostage taking at the Clinton head quarters. The alledged possible suspect seems to be shaping up as Troy Stanley, a married man (20 years or so) with at least one child (who is insisting that the 'bomb' is just a couple of flares, and his dad just has some medical issues).

CNN is all over it, as is every other news outlet in the nation.

BUT wait... if you're watching the TV instead of reading the news from the internet, you might be wondering who the hell this Troy Stanley I'm talking about it, cause the name MSNBC is handing out is Leland Eisenberg, or Leeland E. Eisenberg or some variation of spelling on the name.

Either way, the case isn't as interesting as one would think. A deranged man with mental problems wearing something he shouldn't walked into a Clinton office- like that's never happened before. But, on a realistic point- this is clearly someone with issues who wants attention. I wouldn't mind one major news network covering it between other ongoing news... but all of them... non stop? That's a little much, even for this crime blogger. Especially when it seems that the news people aren't even providing any useful information such as a certain correct NAME for the suspect..... other than the live video feed that is currently delayed a minute before you see it.

UPDATE... OMG they really think they might have the right name now Leland Eisenberg. He's been a problem 'round town for a while according to some media sources.

According to MSNBC, law enforcement sources are now saying the hostage suspect is 46-year-old Leland Eisenberg (not Troy Stanley). Meanwhile, minutes ago, Capt. Paul Callaghan of the Rochetster Police held a press conference and revealed… nothing! Every question was deflected or outright rejected

There's reason to believe he might have been drunk at the start of this... although I don't see where that become any sort of excuse for ruining what could have been a night of interesting news with full out coverage of some idiot with issues.
