Chicago Sexual Assault Suspect

Belmont Area Detective Division of the Chicago police have released information regarding the suspect in a series of sexual assaults against women in the North Side. Police have described the suspect as being a white Hispanic male, 25 to 30 years old, 5' 6" to 5' 9" and weighing 170 to 200 pounds with short dark hair combed back, a medium complexion and no facial hair.

In each of the incidents, the suspect has approached a lone female from behind, knocked her to the ground and attempted to sexually assault them before fleeing on foot.

Most of the attacks have occurred during the early morning hours from 2-3:30 a.m., but on Saturday, Aug. 11, a woman was knocked to the ground about 11:30 p.m. as she walked in the 700 block of West Fullerton, the alert said.
