The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil,
but because of those who look on and do nothing.

Caught, Again

Imagine coming home from shopping with your three year old daughter. You're putting groceries away with her, when suddenly she's gone. You know she couldn't have gotten far, and that she still has to be somewhere in the house, maybe you call her name a few times, but get no response.
You start looking for her, it's still only been a few moments- are you to the point of being frantic yet?
Maybe you hear something in another room, and approach it thinking you'll find her playing with something, or perhaps getting into something she shouldn't- just like all three year olds do. Whatever goes through your mind in those seconds has no way to prepare you for what you are about to find.

George Jonaitis, 30, of Portage, pleaded guilty to child molesting in November 2004 and was sentenced to eight years in prison, two to be served in work release and the remainder on probation.

Jonaitis served the sentence in work release and began probation but failed to abide by the condition he not have contact with minor children, his probation officer said.

The 3-year-old victim and her mother were staying at the home of a relative and Jonaitis was visiting when the crime occurred, prosecutors said.

The girl was helping her mother put groceries away when the mother noticed she was missing. The mother found her daughter under a blanket with Jonaitis. He reportedly jumped up when the mother found him with the girl.

According to prosecutors, the buttons on the child's pajama bottoms were undone and she said Jonaitis fondled her. SOURCE

Other than being convicted in 2004, Jonaitis was also convicted in 1995, again for molesting a child.

Work release, probation, and then free to continue this repulsive behavior. Another child harmed because of lax sentencing.

This stuff makes my blood boil. Could I just spend a little time with this useless tool. He does not need his hands anymore and other body parts would also need to be expunged. I know, I'm being hatefull. But at least my ideas would not only put an end to these freaks but also bring fear into those with desires to act out in such heinous ways.

omg, another one set free to prey on more unsuspecting innocent children. grrrr this little girl's mother should have seriously injured this sick perv and slowly tortured him while waiting for the law to arrive. It is time we dealt with these sickos in a swift and uncompromising manner-either kill them off or seperate them from society entirely for the rest of thier natural evil lives.
